Unlimited Storage With Telegram
If you are a telegram developer wondering why gibberish keeps hitting your servers
(which is encrypted text)
It is because there is a issue in Telegram which allows me to use it as a storage container.
Telegram has not responded to this being disclosed so I have decided to utilize it as a proof of concept. In this way Telegram can
1: realize it is an issue and fix it.
2: I get free storage until its fixed.
it has been close to a year without this being resolved, so I have included this URL along with every request to the server.
I suspect that to fix this Telegram would need to overhaul your systems, and it is cheaper to not do so. As this is not a real risk to any users I can understand this decision.
However until this is fixed I will keep using Telegram as free storage.
Update: 7/14/2026 Telegram seems to have FINALLY fixed the issue.
